Ibrahim Maalouf Teams Up With Oxmo Puccino On "Au Pays d'Alice"
Coming in December on innovative trumpet player Ibrahim Maalouf's M'ister Productions is Au Pays d’Alice, the recording of a jazz musical inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Accompanying Maalouf on this adventure is the rapper-poet Oxmo Puccino. Rich with influences from multiple genres and cultures, the work offers a stunning adaptation of Carroll’s story. It features a wide range of musicians including a thirty-piece classical orchestra and the children’s choir of Radio France. Make no mistake, this recording is a musical event.
