Stile Antico Perform At The 60th GRAMMY® Awards Premiere Ceremony
World-Renowned Vocal Ensemble Stile Antico Joins 2018 GRAMMYs Lineup, Announces Major New Release and U.S. Tour

The GRAMMY®-nominated British vocal ensemble Stile Antico has been invited to perform at the 60th GRAMMY® Awards Premiere Ceremony on January 28, 2018. Hosted by Paul Shaffer, the annual Premiere Ceremony is held before the GRAMMYS broadcast and will also feature performances by Jazzmeia Horn, Taj Mahal and Keb' Mo'.
Stile Antico has been GRAMMY®-nominated this year "Best Chamber Music / Small Ensemble Performance" category for their latest album, "Divine Theatre – Sacred Motets by Giaches de Wert" on harmonia mundi. This is just the latest accolade for the recording, which the Financial Times described as full of "sheer joyful energy"’ and "technical brilliance." The group has previously been nominated for two other recordings: "Song of Songs" (2010) and "Music for Compline" (2008).
Stile Antico will fly to New York over the last weekend in January for a hectic few days of events and will perform in the GRAMMYs Premiere Ceremony at the Madison Square Garden Theater on the afternoon of January 28. Fans will be able to watch the Premiere Ceremony through a live stream on GRAMMY.com from 3-6 p.m. ET, 12-3 p.m. PT and 8 p.m. UK time and will be available on demand following the broadcast.
On March 9, 2018 the ensemble will release its new recording of one of the greatest masterpieces of the Renaissance, Tomás Luis de Victoria’s Tenebrae Responsories. The group's twelfth project for harmonia mundi, it will be released world-wide March 9 (digital) and April 13 (physical). Stile Antico will perform Victoria’s Tenebrae Responsories in Savannah, Cambridge and New York on its April 2018 tour.
