Powerhouse pianist Marc-André Hamelin and France’s eloquent Quatuor Danel return to Chamberfest to join forces for a performance of Dmitry Shostakovich’s enigmatic Piano Quintet. Lauded for performances that “keep the listener on the edge of their seat” (Toronto Concert Reviews), Hamelin will open the program with new discoveries by Feinberg and breathtaking works by Chopin.
